Today was Brennan's first Halloween. It was also the last first holiday that she will have! That saddens me a little, but she had a really good time! We dressed her in the outfit Giggie sent: an orange onesie that says 'Take Me to My Mummy', spiderweb leggings, black socks, and her black Reeboks. She was adorable! At one point, we put a wig on her briefly. Hilarious! James has been so busy with his course work that he wasn't even sure that he was going to dress up. However, at the SLP dinner last Friday night, the Korean teachers were talking about what James was going to be for Halloween. So, he really felt that he couldn't let them down by not doing anything. At the last minute (about an hour before he went to work), he decided that he would be a zombie. He had makeup left over from his costume last year, so he used that to pull off "the look". Brennan was fascinated the whole time he was getting ready and kept coming to me like she wanted me to do something to "help" Daddy. Super cute. On the way to work, Brennan could not stop staring at him. Picture ripped clothes, pale makeup, dark circles, fake blood.... It was so great. I was really glad that she wasn't upset. When we got to SLP, the supervisor gave Brennan her first Halloween candy. She was in such a happy mood and really enjoyed seeing everyone dressed up.
