Brennan's official birthday party was a categorical, rip-roaring success. The food was delicious, the cake was amazing, and the guests were very many (about 30)! The guests included many of James's co-workers from SLP, both Korean and foreign teachers, our doula, Annette, and her children, Brennan's friends, Alex, Ezra, and Piper, and their parents... Brennan had a fantastic time enjoying new food (black beans, Mexican rice, and birthday cake and icing) and chasing around after Alex and Ezra (James was totally worn out after all that)!
